my rewilding scrapbook

It feels imperative to me to move my life from one that's in any way toxic or destructive to self and others, and part of that for me is to dive deep into and promote Rewilding. I'm currently learning avidly about it, it's making much sense, and I'm keen to help realise it practically right now.

The Rewilding Podcast w/ Peter Michael Bauer

A call to support Indigenous Science
"Faced with the profound challenges of a rapidly changing environment, society needs other ways of knowing to illuminate a different way forward. Thanks to the leadership of Indigenous scholars and allied collaborators, Indigenous knowledge is receiving long overdue recognition for its potential to provide solutions for the mutual thriving of lands and cultures. An urgent question is how institutions can appropriately support (and not hinder) Indigenous science’s key role in creating a sustainable future."

Bison reintroduction for rewilding | Filmed at Wilder Blean, Kent
Bison are amazing eco-engineers, which boost biodiversity through behaviours like dust bathing, trampling, debarking and seed dispersal. Learn how bison are shaping the landscape and engaging people with nature at Wilder Blean, Kent – one of our Rewilding Network members – where they've been reintroduced as free roaming animals for the first time in 6,000 years.
